Self-taught photographer and video maker
Born in 1975, it’s during adolescence that Guillaume Bounaud developed a passion for photography and images in general. He’s fond of adventure and travel. Guillaume is a photographer on movie sets and takes portraits of actors.
Guillaume Bounaud
Self-taught, he learned photography with a Nikkormat, a Japanese reflex camera, at the age of 15. Also interested in movies, he directed his first 16mm short film at the age of 18. He has since directed other short films, several documentaries, making-of and music videos. However, photography remains his main theme.
He boarded Tara in 2010 in Argentina (between Buenos Aires and Ushuaia) during the Tara Oceans expedition. During his time on board, he documented the adventure.
